• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

My first real road trip on my RTS

Flight Risk

GOS member (Girls On Spyders)
On Nov. 2nd, 11 bikes left Texas at 7:45am. All through Texas I got numb butt. Continued thru Oklahoma and have sore butt....by the time we made it to Arkansas I'm pretty sure I have monkey butt. 11 hrs on a motorcycle Day 1. On to Memphis, TN the next morning. Tired was an understatement!!! The weather going was fantastic.....! Love the color changes in the trees and mountains. Arkansas has more twisties than I care to remember! We took half day off on Saturday afternoon after arriving in Memphis and the first half of the day off on Sunday to sight see more of Beale street. Sunday at about 2:30pm we headed back to Searcy, Arkansas where I ran into/met Faran SpyderRyder, one of the 5 Can Am Spyder ambassadors, major surprise!! What a sweet woman! Back on the bikes at 7am Monday Nov 5th and the rain came........colder too. Finally made it home to Dallas at 8:30pm Monday night.

After 1,200 miles I can say this for a fact.......not the time to put on a new MC seat LOLOL

I can hardly wait for another road trip!!!!!!!!

What kind of seat did you put on? I put a new seat on a few days before my big trip this summer and for a day I was worried that it may have been a mistake but it all worked out and now I really like the seat.

Hey girl,

I am the proud owner of a Russel Day-Long seat. It is beautiful. Unfortunately I have "boney butt" syndrome LOL so the first 606 miles (exactly) were rather ouchie. I was wiggling around a lot. After that..........pure heaven! :D

The good thing about that seat is it has sides that sort of wing up. I firmly believe that is why I could stay in the saddle better when our "Road Captain" aka canyon carver was hauling ass through the twisties of Arkansas........bless that seat!
