Spyders in the Redwoods 2013 will be August 5 - 8 near Yosemite NP!!

Dates were annouced last week that the third annual Spyders in the Redwoods event will be centered in Sonora, CA during the week of August 5 - 8th. Sonora is near Yosemite National Park and Calaveras Big Trees with three major passes through the Sierra Nevadas coverging nearby.

We are planing some new and exciting things for the 2013 event and hope to see you all there!

Here is a photo taken just this past weekend at 9,600 feet on top of Sonora Pass.

Where is the closest hotel(s), and are you going to get a group rate again?

There are lots of motels and hotels in Sonora. We are working on contacting a few to get group rates. There is a Best Western there with similar rates as the Red Lion in Eureka. It is also of similar size. We will be at the Mother Lode Fairgrounds in Sonora.

I stayed at that Best Western for 3 nights 2 years ago when I rode out West.The rooms were good and the have a nice restaurant and bar on premises.I loved that whole area.Fantastic riding roads.Wish I could attend but will be in Maine next August.:thumbup:
