• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Was talking to a guy the other day and I mentioned I'm retiring 1 January. He asked how long I've been working. I said 44+ years. He asked if I had been with the same company all that time. I said no, I've been with this company 24 years after serving 20 years in the Air Force. He say's, well then, so you've only had a real job for 24 years. Uh, say that again. Now this guy's in his mid twentys, by his own admission has had three jobs, none lasting longer than two years. He's a college grad with a degree in business management. Now I know why our economy is in such trouble. I did tell him he needs to get a grip on reality and spend some time with some vets. What I really wanted to do was kick his sorry a%#. But that would have been a waste of time and energy.

And people wonder whats wrong with this country. Isn't a college education wonderful. I had well over 40 years in aviation including the Air Force and the rest was school of hard knocks. Been retired since 2005 and loving it.

Wow! It's not like you we're an elected official or anything. You actually put your life on the line. (And I offer my thanks.) After you kick his butt you should have him explain what he's done for the world lately.

The new generation of "future leaders" scares me a lot. They have no loyalty and really do not care much about our county--only for themselves.

As a college professor, I have seen the quality of a lot of the students deteriorate over the last ten years.

The nation is going to have some real problems when the generation moves into positions of leadership and power.

Do you think that Military Service should be compulsory? :dontknow:
I kind of think that it should; it might give this new generation a taste or what Honor and duty are...

Hot button heaven Bob :roflblack:

I will say yes to compulsory military for one or two years. Our military has changed considerably over the last several years. A lot of military recruits currently are in because they could not find anything else or the judge said "thou shalt". There are other places I could go with this--but don't want to get kicked out today.

Most of the military are good, career people, that make it what it is--but how many years before that is not the case?

YA CAN'T FIX STUPID!!!!!!!!!!! I have worked since I was 10 then 20 yrs of Army..... then work after that till 63yo. That kid doesn't have a brain to play with. If he did he would have thought about what he was gona say BEFORE he made an A$$ out of himself. AND that Animal (the ass )is smarter than he is!!!:gaah:

I really know I shouldn't be, but I am still amazed at the stupidity of some people. I have gotten to know some young people who still give me some faith in the future but they seem to be an ever-shrinking percentage....

I think I have some old drive chain off old bikes. We could use that to brush the dust off his head and body. 28 plus USAF.
During a PGR Funeral Mission, I/we were asked how did "they" decide to stop combat for the evening. . There are a lot of young people that do understand, but there seems to more and more that do not.
Freedom Is NOT Free.

I wrote several responses to some of the comments. But each one lead to another issue getting me deeper in trouble. So I'll just say, yes. I do agree with the draft for "all" young people. Two years minimum in some branch of service. As far as kicking a$$, believe me, I'm perfectly capable of doing it by myself. However, anyone that wants to get their chance at him is welcome to.

I personally would not want to see the quality of our military diluted with these bozos. Let them get jobs at McDonald's, and leave our military smart and strong. JMHO
