Still no lights in NJ. Generator are up 3X the times price.
plus you cannot find one. Gas lines are long at 5:00am :banghead:
they said Nov. 5 wow ! check on my older neigbor. I can deal with it but some of my older neighbor I feel for so I Had to cook everything last night so i
call a few of my neighbor we play cards drink a little. Talk had a great time.
got a hang over now. Now I understand why I don't really drink.

Yes, hang in there. These types of things bring out the best and the worst of people. We are turning more and more into an "every man for himself" type of society and that scares me a lot.

It is great that you look out for your neighbors.

RE: the price gougers--Yes, the come out of the woodwork to take advantage of the situation. I am also in favor of remembering them when it comes to future purchases and letting them know from time to time why you no longer patronize them.

Our hearts goes out to all people who suffer cause by SANDY. Please be in mind we have alternative of food that don't need to be cook. Fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds, raisins and many more. Besides these are healthy also. they keep us healthy and will have more time (YEAR) riding our SPYDERS. :yes::yes::yes:. Well I was just told that we've got to clean out the 'fridge before the stuff spoiled...
I LIVE to hear that! :thumbup:
The Missus had made us a sausage and onion casserole that was our week's worth of suppers. Think of something kind of like a spaghetti sauce; only much thicker with bigger chunks of chopped meat, sausage, onions and peppers...

It was just as good cold as it would have been when warmed up! :thumbup:
And I about killed off the entire thing! pps:
So we didn't lose any food; nor did I lose any weight! :roflblack:

Quite honestly; the Missus is a fan-dang-tastic cook; and I enjoy her food too much to worry about my weight...

While we are getting back to normal down here in south jersey, unfortunately the shore will be quite some time....
I just talked to my parents today who live on long beach island. They stayed in a hotel for the storm to ride it out. However, they are hearing that it will be quite some time before they can actually move back down there as it may be several weeks until they can get any work done.

We are working this evening and into the weekend to rearrange our house to have them move here. This will be interesting because our house is not very big...lol. But, It's family so it's got to be done...
