Thinking of going to biketoberfest again this year in Daytona.. any takers?

I'll be there..it'll be my first year with a Spyder. Is there a Spyder gathering place or a particular hotel used?

I'm not sure how to answer that but last year the Can-am folks were there at the race track and they provided test rides. I did see several spyders last year but as far as a "planned" gathering, I'm just not sure.

you can stay in st augustine or st augustine beach and only be about 35 or 40 miles from daytona down scenic A1A

its a nice ride along the ocean

Biketoberfest 2012

We are definitely lining up on this. Will likely camp somewhere not far from Daytona, but will spend a night or two at the same motel/hotel where other Spyder owners will be staying near Daytona. So, let us know as things firm up on loc & dates.

Also interested in hearing BRPs plans for Daytona...

I could be entirely wrong, but I think that the "running the race track" event is only during bike week and not Biketoberfest. Again, I could be wrong on that one.

I ran the daytona raceway last year at biketoberfest. Hopefully they will do it again this year.

Camping near Daytona Beach for BikeToberFest

We just made reservations to stay at International RV Park and Campground, 3175 W International Speedway Blvd (just west of I95) near Daytona. Nice facilities and super convenient, but not cheap! http://www.internationalrvdaytona.com/index.html

Gonna need some places to meet up..A central Florida Spyder group is doing a breakfast at Crabby Joes in Daytona Bch (3701 S. Atlantic)--based on their ride time I would guess they'd be there 9 a.m to 9:30 on Sat 10/20.
