• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I love my Hwy Floorboards, they are now an official mod

I did a two hour ride north and back this weekend for a job. I got a chance to really use my newly added highway floorboards. I wanted to get them right before I put them on here as an official mod. After the ride, the only tweaking I had to do was put the bracket just a hair more upright and the floorboards themselves a little less angled. They are perfect for a change of position while riding and being able to stretch out my legs bit and even sit back a bit. As I have mentioned before, once I get my NoMagicNeon handlebar risers, I will really have some comfortable cruising position options. Those should be here some time this week. Here are the photos of the floorboards again.

There are 4 inches from the hole that matches up to the billet bike part bracket to the hole that holds the floorboard. I got rid of the clevis and mounted the board directly to the bracket as in the pic below. It is amazing how much more comfortable this is. One other thing about not having the clevis in there and being so much closer to the bike and the original bracket that I noticed. There isn't nearly as much flex. The floorboards feel much more stable being right up close to the bike.

Reversible if you buy a new handle bar since you shorten the stock onin the process. Not expensive.

You are correct, I would have to buy a new stock handlebar, and put back in but not big deal. Also, so far I do not see this as being anything I would want to reverse. This is so much more comfortable and the steering and handling are amazing.

Just a couple more small mods

Here are some photos of a few easy small mods. I have always wanted a personalized plate. It is amazing how many things are taken. On a whim I tried this and never thought I would get it but I did.

Need a list of Excellent Painters and Chromers near P'cola

Hi dltang,

Your:spyder: is :bowdown:inspirational. I'm shooting for Sept. 2009:pray:. I have an Endeavor to pay for first.:cus:

I really appreciate your(and others on this site) willingness to share info about your :spyder:. It will save those of us making future purchases a whole mess of headaches.

I never could figure out why the :spyder: was called a :spyder:. It doesn't resemble a :spyder:. That is until viewing your video on Fender Tipz. In the dark with the lights on, the front view is a :spyder:

I know I'm probably the last person to figure that out, but thanks for the enlightenment anyway.

I live in Pensacola, Florida. I already know that I must have a custom paint job on my :spyder: before I get it. So I'll have to plan this very carefully. Is there a way to get a list of Excellent painters and chromers near the Pensacola area? :chat:

Thanks again,
