Hello Folks,

I am happy to announce that Elka Suspension will be attending the Spyders in the Adirondacks event in Lake Placid New York from August 9[SUP]th[/SUP] to the 11[SUP]th[/SUP]. We will be selling, installing, and tuning product on site at the event.

I will be joined by none other than Len Damouth for the event, so don’t be shy to come by and see us !!

In addition, we will be raffling off 1 set of Stage 1+ shocks at the event as well, so we hope to see you there !!

A bunch of us are staying at The North Pole Resorts. It has camping as well as an Inn with rooms. Friday night there is a diner planed, but the organizers don't know were yet. We are hoping to do a group ride from the top of White Face to the eat and greet. It's a short ride the back way into Saranac Lake, so if the Diner is in the Lake Placid/ Saranac Lake area it will work out.I'm still waiting for the powers to be to announce this.opcorn:opcorn:opcorn:. Sat morning is the cruise in to the Olympic Outdoor ice oval which is right next door to where the miracle on ice occured in 1980. Lots of Olympic history here in town. The Olympics have been here twice. Not sure if any other city can claim that. Hopefully the bobsled run is open for those that want a thrill of a lifetime.

Wife and I will be there

The wife (the Spyder ryder) and I will be at SITA. This is our first event with the Spyder crowd. She says now I get to be the oddball (Harley) at the rally. Really looking forward to meeting some of the folks from this board. I'll need to make a list of board handles to try and place faces with online names.

We are starting the Saturday before, leaving from Northern VA. Spending a few days in Niagara Falls and a night in Montreal before rolling into Lake Placid on Thursday for the doings at Tail O the Pup. On the return home we are hitting the NASCAR race at Watkins Glen and then riding for another few days (not sure where yet). Hope to be on the road 14 days or so. Nothing better.

Looking into things.... thinking of riding up on Wed... then have to leave back home on Sunday. About 800 miles from my place to get there.

Wouldn't mind scooting over to Mount Washington Road one day..... missed doing that last year and have regretted it.....

Are you guys registered and doing all the official stuff?

I'd probably just play it all by ear as to what I'd do. Not into big group rides.. but small groups would be fine......
