• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

2012 RS S Orange or Magnesium???

Should I change the oil every 3000 miles?

I dont :) And Everything appears to be all good. With AMSoil or Mobile 1 full synthetic stretching it seems good, with the new service bulletin and new SE5 caps the interval stretches to 4600. So If that is the case my full synthetic should go to 9k then :D

Which makes me a happy panda bear!

What other things should I look out for every so many miles? Does the air filters clog up quick over time?

Last year I got a 2011 RS-S in matt orange. Saw one in magnesium shortly after purchase and loved it. But, in the long run my matt orange was the best decision. They only offered the color in 2011. This year high gloss Can-Am red is the way to go. It is far more visible-stands out in a crowd.

There is a maintenance schedule.

After brand new - back at 600 miles for a check up / check out
then:

Then every 3k, 6k, 12k when you hit 12k, flush and start again. Its all in the manual!

Thanks. I don't have a manual yet, because I don't have a bike yet. LOL

IT'S TIME.....!!

Yaaaayy! I got to get off of work early today which means I can go look at the two options today and pick one!!!:yes: Been so excited all week. I don't know which color I'm coming back with, but I will let you guys know!

Thanks so much. This forum is AWESOME, and I am ready to be an offiicial SPYDERLOVER!! :doorag:

The magnesium one has the gloss black front where the burnt orange one has a matte black one. The silver one has a little bit of a metal flake to it as well. I went with the orange one. Doesn't look red to me by the way. :p Kind of a hugger orange. :doorag:
