• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Gas Mileage

GAS MILEAGE

I don't think it's a question of gas cost per sey....it's more knowing approx. how far you can go before she burps...:roflblack::roflblack::roflblack:..Mike

Put 150 miles on the RS today and got 30.7 mpgs on the fill up. Riding speed was between 65-75 and at times was pushing 80.

daveinva,

I agree with everything you said; but, sorry to say I'm not in the 1%. You were talking about the top 1% for earnings????:dontknow:

950 miles and only getting 25 mpg - now that is a lot better than my silverado 14 mpg but I was hoping for the 30's

And my dealer told me not to use anything but super in the spyder - something about the injectors ? I didn't really care because I have never put anything but super unleaded in all my bikes and small motor machines.

I am hoping after a get the spyder on the dyno and get a good map , I will get better gas mileage .

Heh, me neither, unfortunately-- was just exaggerating for effect. :joke: I make decent enough money-- I bought a Spyder, after all!-- but most definitely NOT part of the 1%.

Yet.

gas mileage

It is what it is, cost me $21.74 Canadian today and no levels on the guage, less than 20 litres, not sure what happened to the rest of the available capacity, anyway, guage went to full bars, going to be interesting, on the OREGON road trip, am bringing a small jerry can mounted to trailer. Have scarry memories of riding back from Great Falls Montana to St, Mary's and all the gas stations were closed. It was not even dinner time yet. Boy Scout motto, ( be prepared ).
