• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

New Sliding Winshield !

I think that windshield was posted not too long ago and was going to sell for about $350. Me likey, but not in my pricey.

If you are looking for cheap accessories, get a CrampBuster. Its the best $10 thing I bought for the Spyder. Unfotunately, its the only $10 thing I bought for the Spyder. :( :D Most everything else is $100 and up. At least its not a Harley, then everything would be $200 and up. :D :D

350 aint bad. That Corben one is 1500 !

The f1 are all most that much an dont line up or work good.

an this one can addjust with out oven mits !

Accessories and parts for the Spyder are like accessories and parts for the BMW...relatively expensive. With the Spyder, it probably is certainly a supply and demand thing, to some extent. There just aren't many of them...a situation we cherish. There are scads of Harleys and Goldwings out there, so there are lots more accessories available. That brings down the price. As to BMW, still a bit elite as far as accessories go, playing to an upscale group of customers somewhat, and then there is the Dollar/Euro rate for the parts hit. The manufacturers will only sell if people are willing to pay. We seem to be doing so. Is there a stock Spyder left in the world?

I have one of their adjustable windshields on order. When I placed the order on July 24, I was told I would be #23 on the waiting list and that production wouldn't start for about 3 weeks. So I don't expect to see my new windshield for a while yet. :dontknow:

For me the whole Windshield Design from I7 looks like a copy of the
well know MADSTAD Windshield mounting system for the Suzuki V-Strom.
Is there any relationship between I7 and Madstad or is this just another copycat?
Well, it is kind of wobbly looking with the huge gap between Windshield and Fairing.
What if it rains? does the water run down to my pants or what?
I rather wait until I see F1's new Slider Screen coming.

Here is the link from you tube and the Madstad website:
