• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Official SpyderFest 2012 Updates Post!

Will it be like a Drive In Movie? I've always said that I'd love to ride my Spyder to the Drive In - I like to sit on the passenger seat and put my feet up on the handlebars - very comfortable. However, if I were to eat too much popcorn I might have trouble with the throttle when it is time to leave.

Yes! :yes::yes:

Hi everyone,

My business here is keeping me way too busy. I am planning to leave Wisconsin here on Tuesday or Weds. to head for Cuba. I still have NO ROOM reserved.

Anyone know where one guy can get in around the area???

Also is anyone interested in tagging along or I tag along with them out of Central Wisconsin??

Thanks all,

Mitch

See post #411 above. It is Murphy Brown's weekly update.

Mitch,

We have a group meeting in Beloit, WI Tuesday morning if you would like to join in. They will be meeting with another group in Bloomington, IL and maybe another in Springfield, IL. Here is a link that gives information about the schedule and meeting locations.

Blessing of the bikes

Ok folks, just asking if anyone thought about doing a blessing of the bikes at Spyderfest. I know it is too late for this year but perhaps next year. Thanks.

Mitch, do you still need a room? I have an extra reserved at the Super 8 was going to cancel tonight if no one claims it. I'll be meeting you Tuesday at Exit 3 meeting point.

Christian riders will be there(I think) just like last year and will bless your bike if requested.

Update

I just completed my first 100 miles and am now at Starbucks in Columbus warming up. Temp was 44deg and a little rain. Supposed to SNOW in Akron tonight and Monday. Glad I left today. Cincinnati should be partly cloudy. I'm pulling my 622 trailer and the first fillup got 23mpg.

we made it to idebel,ok 240mi first leg weather here great wind blowing hard but nice.got 31mpg first fill-up no trailer but wish i had one bike is jammed packed.

We are in Albuquerque about 1,000 miles away. We are here with Spyder Ann, her hubby, my hubby, Desert Spyder, his wife, and our friends Mickey, Cindy, and Ed. :-)

Made it in with Someguy and Somegirl. Tons of wind on the way here, but no major problems.

Is great to see everyone!

Gonna be a great week!
