• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Home safe

I didn't see a thread for everyone to post on when they made it home, so I'll start.

Made it home a little while ago, no issues and weather was somewhat cooperating. It was really foggy when we left and ran into a little rain. I did get to see the arch, well, some of it, did I mention it was foggy.:roflblack:

Hope everyone makes it home safe!

Soggy, but home!

We rolled in around 2:30PM this afternoon after leaving Cuba 9-ish. Fog pretty thick all the way to Jefferson City, and a combination of drizzle/rain/thunderstorms all the way back to Kansas City.
We're happy (and a bit soggy) and LOVED our first Spyderfest!:ohyea::ohyea:

Thinking and  for everyone on the road!

SpyderLady and John are home. So glad to be able to sleep in my own bed tonight. First thing tomorrow it will be my priority to get John into the Doctor. SpyderMonkey (Brenda) thank you for giving it to him, now he is willing to let me make the appt.

Left at 7:30 this AM

Lots of fog until just before St. Louis and then it lifted. Hit some rain across central IL later but home safe and sound around 2:30 PM. What a wonderful time meeting so many new friends (and not remembering names!) and seeing so many spyders in oneplace. Truly looking forward to next year's festivities!

Vickers and I left at 6 am. Lots of fog and hit some fairly heavy rain east of St Louis, the RT did a bit of hydroplaning, very interesting! Home safe by 1:45 pm.

We are home as well, sure enjoyed seeing everyone again and meeting new friends. Ride safe everyone and let us know.
P.S. I already had a nap.

I actually left Saturday morning at o'dark thirty. Guess I should know not to believe the weather reports, but the worst I encountered was drizzle and heavy winds north of Indianapolis. Didn't plan on it, but made it all the way home in time for dinner. So what kind of home cooked meal was waiting for me? Domino's pizza! :roflblack::roflblack::roflblack: Maybe I should have called to say I would be home.

Yeah the RS had to take the lead in the rain and blaze a trail for the RT.:roflblack:

We got on the road about 9:30, FOG!, watched condensation run off the windshield all the way to St. Louis, but no rain, then it cleared up. Hit the back roads at Terre Haute, took our time, dropped Debbie at her place around 4:30, good ride.

Left Cuba @ 8:30am and missed almost all rain, not enough to get my gear wet :clap::clap:. Followed I-44 east with the storm to the north. Went south of St. Louis then turned north between storm cells and stayed a mile ahead of the rain. It would just start to sprinkle a little at each gas stop as we (SNY, Yblue, Gary Lester) left. Started dumping 30 minutes after getting home.

2400 miles total - 450 miles to Cuba - 450 miles home = 1500 miles of fun riding around Cuba and the Ozarks!:yes::yes:
