• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

FOR ALL GOING TO SPYDERFEST

Man after almost a year of semi-retirement, I decide to go back to work 'FULL TIME' in the Automotive business. I am happy with my decision but sad I can't go to Spyderfest... Everyone that is going I wish you a great trip full of fun... Maybe next year for me.

I lasted four years in full retirement. Found myself wasting away after a time, and my money fading away (and I didn't like to count every nickel I spent). I didn't like either one, so I went back to work last July and am happy with the decision. Got my body back in shape and my spending cash built up. Sure, I am a bit tied up again, but it's all for the good. In 3 or 4 years I hope to "retire" again...maybe.

I understand completely, I guess the structure goes away... I would sleep to 8:00AM, go to bed late, found myself getting out of shape and gaining weight. It's kinda weird that the more time you have the less you seem to get accomplished.

Chazzman, I was hoping that I would get to meet you. Maybe somewhere else, someday. I hold up the retirement end of the game for you guys. I've been out for seven years, and I wouldn't go back to work for anything. I'm happy and healthy and love having plenty of time for road trips.

That's awesome, glad you're enjoying yourself, I would probably be there with you if my finances would allow me to keep my lifestyle that actually is pretty frugal. We have no debt, I need to sell my house and downsize, hopefully this economy will come around in the next 3-4 years... I hope to at least make Lamont's BBQ, maybe I will see you there.

Your posts and reply's are valuable to us newby's and others as well I'm sure.

Cheers
