Removed cluster . removed bezel ( trim ) from face of cluster ( unsnaps easily ) painted silver will re-assemble tomorrow and post finished pic .cost= 5dollars. love dem cheap mods. thanks, blueknight 911 for the tips:thumbup:credit to KKCDCDC . assembled cluster re-installed, all done. this is a very simple mod that anybody can do. if you don't like how it turns out just re spray it satin black. i does brighten up the dark dash area.

i used regular spray paint. valspar from lowes. but all the big names are good. i think the ''plastic'' spray paints are mainly for softer bendable type plastics.:thumbup:

Hey Coz, paint'n question for ya buddy

I know the RT dash & the RS are different, but as I told ya, I've already got an extra one laying around in the garage, so my question is, did you sand it down any or just clean it & paint it as is?:hun::dontknow:

clean and paint

clean and paint should be fine. if the surface has texture the texture will come thru. if you want it smooth and shiny like your panels, you should sand it smooth first, then do a few coats.:thumbup:

does anyone make a good CHROME spray on paint?
if so who and form where?

i don't know of any spray paint that you could call chrome. ''chrome '' spray paint is little more than silver. but if you find something let us know:thumbup:

Vent covers. I bought this.......

and applied it, trimmed it. and heated it to make it look nice. I will put BRP logo on tomorrow when the paint fully cures.

It's a Chikara. KISS has it on their Hotter Than Hell album. Also Eric Carr love it and covered his drum kit with them.
