• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Wrist Cramp

After 1k miles in just a couple of days, I found that the Spyder does great on long rides. The Corbin's saved my ass from any kind of soreness. The Micron kept her cool. The paint held up well.

My wrists, however, are killing me! I'm ordering cruise control today. I'm not a fan of Throttlemeister but I will be looking for a mechanical solution. Anyone have any experience with BrakeAway?

I had a brakeaway on my LC1500. I loved it!
The only issue I can see with it on the Spyder is that you lose the function it has with being released with the application of the brake. If you can modify one to mount up and not rotate where its not supposed to, its a very easy throttle lock to use.

Glad to hear the Corbin saddle worked out for you. That is my biggest pain in long distance riding. My butt gets sore after a few hundred miles and then it takes at least one off day to fully recuperate. This weekend of 4 straight 200+ mile days left me constantly sore by day 3 and day 4 was worse. No amount of shifting in the saddle or rest breaks provided much relief on that last day.

Also, I'm glad you made it back safe after you got sick on Saturday. I really would have liked to have ridden with you on Monday morning when we went through the Tunnel of Trees. That ride needs to have video documentation made with a camera like you have mounted on your Spyder. dltang and I want to do that again sometime this year and maybe you would be free to join us for a one or two day trip for that ride.

Get well soon bro.
