• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Twenty days to the March of Dimes walk and I'm confident that we'll raise at least what we did last year, thanks in part to Spyderlovers. :2thumbs: * Special thanks to Lamont for letting me post this here.

Our fund raising page is here: http://www.marchforbabies.org/leahpaquette

As for the formula this year... I am donating $250 for every $1000.00 raised. My next donation is at $3500 ( $500 already pitched in for the first $2k), which we are pretty close to. I know there are a million worthy causes we all give to or are asked to give to. The March of Dimes became ours due to our experience with Leah's prematurity. I encourage you to give and support those you know who are walking for cancer, heart disease, autism and so forth. If you have found Leah's start to life inspiring, please share her story, pictures and videos. We appreciate everyone's donations and support!

Leah is walking around.. a lot! She is pretty stable on her feet and has the whole falling thing mastered. This has enabled her to chase the cats quite a bit. She is eating much better - still on prescription formula but eating more table food and seems to like almost everything we give her so far. Her weight gain is still painfully slow. We have to remind ourselves from time to time how far she has come from 1 pound 4.2 ounces. She is also very chatty... The videos do not give a good sense of how chatty she is. She still says "Ut-Oh" quite a bit, but now also says "Yay" (while raising her hands above her head), "What's that?" ( I think... She points and says that all the time) and I think she knows the word "Duck".

Premature birth is far more common these days. Perhaps due to the advances in science, enabling women to have children at older ages, or women who would otherwise never become pregnant to do so. Chances are that you know someone or will know someone other than Terri and I that had a premature baby, or a baby that was micro preemie like Leah. If anyone you know or love finds themselves in that situation, please by all means contact me. I'd be more than willing to talk to them and help them feel at ease and lend our support as someone who has been through it.

As always I can be reached at 864-275-6178. I am hosting a lunch for Spyderlovers May 5th at the Quaker Steak and Lube in Concord, NC during the BRP demo event. Check the NC section for details. I have also decided that though the walk falls during Spyderfest, I will not be attending this year, but will next year... Least that is the plan so far!

Thank you thank you thank you!!! So very much!

Great to see Leah doing so well Dan

:yes:CONGRATS on Leahs progress buddy:yes: FYI: Teddy & I made a donation using the link you provided thru our PayPal account & on our Galaxy Tab, & it submitted ok (I think) but locked up on a "loading" page but warned NOT to hit the back button:shocked: If you have a way of checking, can you let us know if it went thru ok :dontknow: or if we need to re-do it from our regular pc:hun: Thanks buddy

My wife works at Children's Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, and we're already signed up for the March here..I think it's the first week of May, after Spyderfest! We'll be thinking of you while we're walking here.
Then, in September at the KC Speedway, there's a 100mi or so Bikers for Babies March of Dimes benefit ride. As soon as the details come out, we're signing up for that, too!

You guys are awesome! I'll keep looking for the biker ride here locally... They seem to be not as organized locally like the walk is.
