• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I was looking for the old style Steering wheel covers that you wrap the entire wheel with, then wrap it with that plastic lace. Remember those ??? I could not find yellow after an extensive search.

It's nice to get peoples heads together and think outside the box to come up with new and fresh ideas.

Ya had to do it. Showed the pic's to Queen B. Got a yellow and black on order for hes Spyder:thumbup::thumbup:

now you've done it

arntufun is really a sales rep for the steering wheel cover co.:roflblack: seriously, those things really need to to be attached to the max, or somebody will get really hurt.:lecturef_smilie: my vote is for the leather, stitched or laced on.

that's it

that's exactly what i'm talking about:thumbup: i used to get those at pepboys for 20 bucks. ''back in the day''

Randy, you REALLY think this is all it takes to match the passenger comfort of an RT?

:roflblack::roflblack::roflblack: Did Holly HIT you on the head recently:dontknow::roflblack::roflblack::roflblack: To be fair, I do like how it looks

Nice looking mod. I am looking forward to reading the review. I do have a little concern about the safety issue--but I also know that you know what youre doing.

Safety concerns aside for the moment... It looks great!
Attaching it to the grab rails just may need a bit of tinkering; but we're all about the tinkering process...:2thumbs:

I may try the 1" diameter velcro circles (male/female) 3 per side.

Holly has told me several times that she has to hold on tighter on the Spyder than she ever did on two wheels. The way the Spyder always wants to throw the passenger off is the reason. She also says her hands hurt sometimes from the tight grip on the handle. Thats why I came up with this.

I have not received any such complaints from the 'passenger area' regarding this....or maybe it's cause I drive at a much more sedate pace! :roflblack::roflblack::roflblack:

I do like the idea tho and may modify it yet a bit more....remove the handles, slide on some black foam grip covers, re-attach the handles....something like that. :dontknow:

These are seat belt cushions for your neck for a car. The same issue arises in how to safely secure them. They are a little to big in diameter. To be honest, I like the look of the wheel cover much more.

You should demand your seat be restiched with yellow thread.

Return to prior discussion (by the way I am still looking for those thrice cursed earbuds, I think I know where they are and will have them by Monday)

No doubt. The steering wheel cover looks better. Conforms to handle shape much better.

I have a older camera, Of course it's Yellow stiching !!!

Do you honestly think I would have grey ???? :roflblack:

Nice.
Now you take one of these and cut a 14-16" or so section out. Then fold the cut ends under a couple of inches on each end (to give that finished look) and stitch the hell out of em. You will have security and style!

Which size would you choose? They come in 6 sizes; but, the sizes are not listed, only the make and model of various cars.

When they say sizes, it could be diameter and/or length.

Never mind; I see it now.
