There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Accident on I70

I just heard about an accident on I70 that occurred between a CanAm Spyder and I believe a truck. The man was killed. The guy was on the shoulder and was moving into traffic and was hit by the truck and pushed back onto the shoulder, ejecting him from the spyder. He was killed. His name - Bradley Austin from Lake St. Louis, MO- age 36. A patient of mine just told me about this very tragic accident. I believe it happened on Monday. Prayers going up for his family.

So sad, prays go out to the family.. I did a little google search of the accident and attached is the link. How bout we all take a look at it and LEARN from his somewhat of a mis-take. He conducted a very DANGEROUS move on his part that caused the accident.. Lets just remember to always LOOK over your shoulder and not relay on the mirrors as your only way to clear traffic.. See Link:

PS: It states in the article that Austin was wearing a seatbelt???

Very sad indeed. Either they got the seatbelt part wrong or the vehicle wrong. Since they say he was IN his Can-Am and wearing a seatbelt, perhaps it was a side-by-side and not a Spyder?? They never mention Spyder.

:agree: . I didn't understand the reference to wearing a seatbelt either .

So sorry for the family. I also question if it was a Spyder as we have not met anyone from Lake St Louis on a Spyder. And they do mention seat belt.

Yah I saw that they never mentioned a actually spYder and just CAN-AM.. I'm thinking it was a mis-print myself..

Prayers for the family:pray:..............this should serve as a reminder for all of us to be very careful ryding our favorite "toy". Apparently, none of the Mo Gang knew this person, but it is still a sad affair.:(

The patient who told me about the accident had told me it was a motorcycle. We had been talking about motorcycles when she remembered about the accident and told me the mile marker. Very sad.

I just hate reading these kinds of things, but they happen all the time....it's very dangerous out there!
And it was a big truck too, a KW. The report said it had to be towed from the scene, but possibly for the investigation.
So sad, such a young guy. Thoughts and prayers to his family.
