• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Spyder Trailer

What do you recomend to pull behind your spyder? My wife and I are saving up to buy one this summer. I do like the fact that I can get one from my dealer that matches my bike, but Looks like the cost will be around 5000 by the time you get the hitch and lights. Just wondering what alternatives are.

While there are a number of alternatives, I want to put in my plug for the Spyder RT-622 trailer. It is a marvelous cargo trailer, matches the Spyder perfectly, and towed almost as if it weren't there. I have other trailers, but the RT-622 is my favorite.

If your going to spend a lot for a cargo trailer and you go camping why not go for a camping trailer

You mean like this? If you just want storage tho, I 100% agree with Scotty, the RT622

When BRP designed the RT Spyder, they designed the trailer at the same time, independent suspension & all, works great. I just wanted something also for camping & especially if we're on a trip & get caught in a downpour, we can just pull over at a safe spot & hop in out of the elements & take a nap or watch a movie on our Tab, no set-up required, unlike the "tent" MC campers out there, nothing against them, just didn't fit our needs. So it all depends on what your needs & requirements are. I can remove the matress from the camper & have more storage compassity than most full-size SUVs. If you'd like more info on the Moto-Mate, feel free to PM me. Good luck on yur search, & keep us informed on which route you take & how you like it

The RT-622 trailer 's price is equivalent to what one pays for a high end fiberglass motorcycle cargo trailer. There are any number of much less expensive trailers out there and if one of them meets your needs and budget go for it.

The RT-622 trailer is worth every penny I paid for it and I do not, for one second, regret my decision wrt this purchase. Best towing trailer I have ever owned, bar none.

I am seriously thinking about selling my "Kompact Kamp"(jd trailers.com.) It has been painted to match my Blue RT. I've pulled it about a thousand miles and have yet to sleep in it. I am going to pull it to Spyderfest for the second time. Changes in my health and other plans are the reason for possible sale. I'll have made my mind up by then.

I saw Jeff at ISCI's trailer and thought of you except his he can fit 4 spyders in it as well as it has several pull down beds :)

Actually a month ago, there were two on Ebay. I bought mine at a considerable savings; it's a 2010 and, for all practical purposes, it's new. I had mine shipped from the west coast.

I'm going to guess that you don't see to many stock can-am used trailors for sale.

He has every color under the rainbow and the prices are anywhere from 2200 and down. The average price for a BRP trailer is what 3300 to 4300?

I pull a Bushtec Turbo II. Lighter and less cost than a RT-622. I've pulled it behind Goldwings and Spyders..
My total gross weight just exceeds a RT-622 empty, by only 35 lbs. Why pull trailer weight, when you can haul payload? I use an RT Hitch on my GS and RT with the Trailer wiring Harness and a 2010 Tongue Harness with a 5 pin connector on it for RT. I use an Electrical Connection Relay Isolator on the GS.
Happy Ryding and Pullin'

Is yur head spin'n yet with all these options & there's even more ....
