• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Well I took my :spyder: into the dealer today for 600 mile check. I told them I was going change the oil and filters my self so I got out of there for $96.00 and came home and did the oil and filters change myself and I only had 2 screws left over:shocked:.

How to Go!

Best thing is you didn't break the signal light stuff. I noticed my bike has the top attachment piece about worn down to nothing. It was already replaced once. Nothing like plastic to take the abuse it has to for removal and replacement.

You'll sure enjoy the Spyder. I'm still a HOG and I ride the Spyder some with them. Only had one A hole get nasty about Spyder riding with them. 180 members in that group and one dork!:gaah: He thought I wouldn't keep up.

My 600 miler

I got my R/T back today after having the 600 miler. It cost $236.00. The dealer went over everthing they did to the :spyder2:and showed and explained to me what the computer had to say. I really liked there way of explaining everything they did to it. A big  to Lexington Motorsports in Lexington Kentucky. In my humble opion anyone that is in there area should take a look at this dealership. They do a great job for a fair price.
That being said, I will now do all of the oil changes and maintance myself of course with help from all the great people on Spyderlovers....
:ohyea:A happy :spyder2: rider :ohyea:

Did my first DIY oil change today

I took my Spyder in @ a little over 1000 miles for my 1st oil change and did today's myself @ a little over 5000 miles, it's really not that hard with the help of SpyderLovers forum. I used Lamonster tutorial and bought my oil and filters from BajaRon, who also gave me great information.

:agree: Lexington Motorsports is where I bought mine and they reall are great!

:bowdown: You are braver than I am... :opps: But I'm praying for the strength to change the oil the my RT!:helpsmilie:

Seems to me the RT with elec shift is the PIA. Have to remove all the tupperware to get at that transmission filter. The motor filter is fairly easy to get at from underneath.
