• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Trying to get spyder out of storage

Call the guy where I have my spyder stored today to set up a time to pick it up, and was told it isnt gonna happen soon. Asked why, and he said there was several cars in the way.
I said, So, if the owners of the cars wait till May, I have to wait till May?:yikes: Not gonna happen I said. He said he would try to get the cars moved this weekend. I hope so. Gonna be in the 50's next week.

Ordered a oil filter kit fron Ron, and I hope to have the bike home when the kit gets here...

Man, I hope you get your Spyder out sooner than MAY!!! :yikes: Too bad you didn't live close to me. I've got good winter storage space. I'd be happy to store your Spyder over the winter.

Just tell him you want it out now, and if he cant deliver to put it in writing and stop paying him. He will magically get it out then, since he is violating your agreement.

It did not even snow this year. Why did you put your Spyder in storage?

My crystal ball was in the shop..:roflblack::roflblack:

I dont have a garage...yet. I do have a portable shed(the tarp kind) I use in the summer, but I dont trust them with snow loads.

And no he wont be getting my spyder next fall. I WILL have a garage by then.

As far as stoping payment, I paid in full for the season. Ive known the guy for yrs, and he will get the cars moved, but im gonna
have to lite a fire under his but.

While I'm normally a huge fan of patience and calm approaches; I'd be about five feet in the air and SCREEEMING at the :cus: that I want the Spyder out now or I'm calling the cops! :gaah::gaah:

Actually the ideas I had would have them calling the cops on me...

It seems wrong that you can't get your :spyder2: out when you want it.

It also sounds like the owner is using every inch of space so he can make as much extra money as possible. I wonder what the fire department would say about that--if there is no way to move around in the storage shed.

Also wonder about insurance coverage.

We had such a place in Anchorage where the owner stored RV's. There was a fire and the place was a total loss. The owner carried no insurance--people were responsible for their own losses.

Ya he has the cars packed in there. I put the spyder next to the door for that reason. There is a unheated area on the other side of the doors, and thats the area thats packed. I need to get the bike thru that area.

I did verify he had ins, and I also verified that my Ins would cover any loss while in storage.

That was a good idea to check on his insurance.
Do you have any acquaintances who look like linebackers?? I'd take them along as props and let him assume the worst... :roflblack:
He legally can't deny you access to your property... :gaah:
