ficticious world of complete freedom
Ok, I love polls. They are a lot of fun, don't cost anything and they change all the time which makes it interesting.
This poll requires that you pretened that you can make all 3 of the listed events. And in this potentially ficticious world of complete freedom, I'm simply asking which event you would have the most anticipation for based on whatever criteria you have for getting excited about something.
Now Lamont's BBQ is listed here and I know we all love him very much. But you can't let this bias your vote or you will skew the numbers!
Votes are anonymous so your vote will not be made public,(except to the Administrator) though you are certainly welcome to give your reasons if you like.

I will pretend to answer this to the best of my ability.
Wikipedia says "Anticipation" or being enthusiastic, is an emotion involving pleasure, excitement, and sometimes anxiety in considering some expected or longed-for good event.
The Spyderfest event last year met all of this criteria and more. There was so much talk about the event on this forum. Heck there were cartoon movies with key players I had never met, just heard of depicted in complex story-lines. I had lots of anxiety not just because the journey one way was over 2K miles. But wanted to be best prepared for the trip and what better place to ask questions and find out about tips and tricks for the road than here. I bought two Reda gas cans, picked up some rain gear, and packed everything except the kitchen sink in my extra 22 cubic foot RT622. During the course of reaching Cuba Mo, I traveled from sunny southern California and visited my brother in Texas, ran out of gas twice(that's another story) before arriving Easter morning. When I departed on my way via Waco Texas I waded thru heavy rain and hail before encountering Tornadoes the evening I arrived in Little Rock Arkansas.
The next morning weather wise turned out pleasant although you could see the destruction and flooding caused from the previous day.
Upon arriving at Spyderfest early I had dinner with Spyderlovers at a Restraunt called Route 66 that I had never before met. This camaraderie was infectious. From that moment on I had made life long friends and acquaintances.
and guess what more was in store. The Cowtown gang had really put allot of thought and motivation into this gathering.
The weather was not as cooperative the first day, what with going to the vendor village in pouring rain, I made the most of it and stuck around getting to know many of them. John from Sealfloorboards,
and the couple that had the embroidery business (sure hope they are back this year too)
Every day was jam packed with something to do. Everyone could sign up for a ride of there choice. I chose the caverns / zip line. Mainly because this was the least amount of time riding and since I had already logged 2500 miles i was ready for another adventure with a fun group. I highly recommend this to all. Life long memories!
I also got excited about the bonfire,
getting my Lamonster-Block installed by Spyderpops
and it always came back to the people there. What an amazingly fun group. And a special thanks to Kurt Otteson for spending extra time to diagnose an issue I had with my Spyder. I sure hope BRP is there again.
And to all that explained how to remedy a term I had never heard of before" monkee butt"

pps:,
Sure things could have gotten out of hand
but green was there every step of the way , and I thank them for it.
This video sums it up:
I can only imagine and hope that others have much anticipation for the BRP Owners event. I am attending this year. And my level of anticipation will grow stronger as it nears and we learn more about what is in store:yes:
Confession time:Before I signed up last year to go to Spyderfest I thought the abreviation "MO" was for Montana, and that it was put on by Lamont only to find out that Len was running the show. Would never of experienced the anticipation for Spyderfest if it had not been for the communication channels available on
SpyderLovers. I log onto Spyderlovers just about everyday, onto the Can-Am BRP website occasionally and really enjoyed watching and reading about the videos made here of Lamonsters BBQ. There is a reason that Lamont is an Ambassador for BRP. I hope BRP doesn't look at Spyderfest as competition, and still sends there engineers and PR to the event.
I have allot of anticipation for my firsowners Event in Durango and look forward to riding in with a large contingency from NM.
didn't finish all my thoughts but I gotta run off to work. I will vote when I get back......................
