Attention all florida spyder Riders

OK My friends... It looks like a confusion exists between the List that will be attending Lake placid and the meet for breakfast and ride to Lake placid.

I contacted B/E this evening and I have the GM's tel and cell .. as a rule they B/E do not accept reservations.
However, I think when I call the GM with a count of approx 40 Plus,, the B/e GM should jump at the opportunity but if not then I will try and book elsewhere.


I thought the count was around 40 but, lets do a re-count an list...Thank you

Sorry we will not be able to come. This trip looks really great! I can't believe we have to miss it. :gaah: We have guests coming in to stay with us for 4 days. I'm starting this thread so not to be rude to Spyderdem1621 he actualy started it under { South East Riders } I asked effgjamis what he thought about it and he agrees, so here it is.
How about a meet and greet on February 18th meeting in Lake Placid, FL. at 11:30 - 12 noon. Everyone reading this thread is welcome to attend. We'll meet at the Golden Corral in Lake Placid to have lunch, we will be having a 50/50 drawing for one lucky rider, after we have lunch. Then take a short ride around Lake Placid to look at all the murals on the buildings, if you haven't seen this it is well worth the trip just to see the murals { bring your camera }, If there is stilll time afterwards I thought we could take a ride out through the caladiums fields ending up at the jct of U.S.27 & SR 98 just south of Sebring. There we'll say our good byes. If you are pretty sure your going, add your web name or your real name to the list and where you are coming from. Hope to meet a lot of you from SE,S SW fl. Just copy and then past and add your name.

I'm gonna have to be taken off the list. I totalled my spyder. Gal ran a red light texting and hit my ride side. I'm alive, but one sore SOB. (cracked ribs and busted shoulder). Hopefully I'll be riding in the future. Ya'll ride safe.

OMG..... I do hope you are really ok considering the broken bones.... I hope your bride, if she was with you, is OK.
My prayers are with you and of course too bad for the spyder, however it can be replaced, but YOU can not.

Chris, Sorry to hear about the accident. You will heal been there done that. Just be thankful you are alive. Now you need to find yourself a good lawyer:roflblack::roflblack:. :gaah: Chris, sure am glad it wasn't any worse. I will put you on our prayer list at church for quick recovery. I know some people will get upset but I sure wish they would outlaw textiing while driving, course I know it would be hard to enforce.:banghead: Keep us posted on your recovery.
