• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. With a game like that ot end the season; I could actually wait another week for the Spyder...
And now on to REAL sports...NASCAR in just a couple of weeks!

YEAAA....YAH!! And they are moving this year....like 210mph or something? :yikes:

Randy, If you actually look at the stats from the game, there wasn't really much difference between the 2 teams. Other than time of possession; it was too close to call!
An excellent 4th quarter by both teams... it came down to a couple of drops by the Patriots and maybe one poorly thrown pass that made the difference.
Now go get out in the sunshine for a ride! :2thumbs:

It looks like we will be talking NASCAR before to long. I am also a fan. I don't have favorite drivers or teams yet, but I like to watch the action.

Did you ever get a chance to take in a race at one of the tracks? It's pretty unbelieveable when that pile of cars goes flying past you on a long straightaway!

Not me! Never been to a race--even when I lived in Ft. Wayne IN and everyone went down to Indy for the festivities. I know, different kind of race cars. :roflblack:

I'll go along with that! Cameras take all the speed out of it....make it look like a tame, calm, almost ho-hum event....it ain't! First race I ever attended was Dover, back when she was the REAL monster (before concrete). The Busch guys were running practice laps, I had no more sat down than Mike McLaughlin went head-on into the turn one wall at around at 130 - 140!! My heart nearly jumped right out of my chest.....:yikes: I've been here less than 2 minutes and somebody has been killed already!!

Not true of course, Mike walked away....a little groggy, but still walking!

If you haven't experienced it first hand, and enjoy NASCAR, try to get to a track, you won't regret it!!

But don't go to Pocono, cause you can't see much wherever you sit.

Absolutely true! There are a few tracks that are much better enjoyed from the recliner....Pocono, Daytona, Talledega, The Glen....etc. Although there is the whole 'tailgateing' aspect that is lots of fun too.

:agree: Sonny-Boy and I hit Pocono this past August... A foggy day with some rain delays thrown in just for fun... :gaah:
But... When that pack of cars came down that LOOOOOOONG frontstretch kicking up over 180...

The view from Hooters across the street from the track in Daytona is quite good. Don't ask me how I know.:opps:

BTW, Bob, how is your new scoot? Need pics! Or are you holdin' off for one of those SpyderFest specials?
