• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Hi everyone. Just bought a yellow and black GS/SM5. Hadn't been on a bike or anything close in over 20 years... Drove it 200 miles Home...lots of fun. Still getting used to the higher revs.

Hope you have 200 x 200 x 200 x200 more safe and happy miles on your new Ryde!

Yes, that would be one billion six hundred million....

Congrats on your purchase!! If you are looking for others Spyder owners to ride with, there are two riding clubs nearby. One in the Bay Area and another out of Sacramento. We are actually going a ride this weekend from Lodi up to Coloma. You are welcome to come and join us. E-mail me for details. :)

Happy Spydering!!

Well your obviously a smart person with your color and model choice. It is very well known that the yellow and black Spyder is the hottest and fastest. Welcome aboard.

WELCOME ABOARD.. ..RANDY KNOWS WHAT COLORS ROCK AROUND HERE AND YOU GOT THE RIGHT COLOR COMBO.......MIKE...:agree:

Thanks for the offer and kind welcome. I am working unfortunately, but will make it a
Priority to ride with everyone. I live in Modesto.
Yea, I like yellow... My car is yellow and black too. I heard that stripes add HP though... So the red one might be a quick :)

Since I have everyone's attention, I was hoping to ask a spyder question for those of you that have a few thousand miles under their belt.
Is it normal to have some noise in the front while driving. No clicks or clunks or metal to metal... Just a simple "howl" of sorts that seems to come from wheel/hub/front undercarriage area? In other bikes I'm used to very quiet front..
It's drowned out unless I pull the clutch in or drive at lower RPMs.
Thanks
Steve
