• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

RIDE-ON "vs" SLIME

Ride is Just Better

From using both I have found that Ride On is best. Many friends have warned me that Slime does corrode over time.

I have used Ride-On in all 3 tires on my RT-S for over 2 years, 3 new rear tires, one set of new front tires and 25,000 miles. I don't have any wheel weights on any of the rims. My experience has been "very satisified". As I understand it, "Slime" is not rated for over the road use and is intended for off road use and lower speeds but I could be wrong about that. A note when ordering Ride-On, if you order several bottles, it usually comes with only one peice of tubing. I prefer to use a new peice of tubing each time I put it in so I went to the local hardware store and purchased 10' of tygon tubing. Just cut off a peice each time I need it. BTW, I have never had a flat tire on the RT-S yet.

:agree: You have to look at warning on the for tubeless container very careful, in Very fine print ''Not for speeds over 45 mph.'' temporary use only. Not that everyone pays attention to that. ;);)

I use Ride-On in my Spyder, my F-150 Harley-Davidson S/C Truck, and when I need to replace the tires on my new Suzuki Hayabusa, I'll put it in that beast as well! Works great...I did a lot of research into the Ride-On versus Slime and hands down RO came out ahead every time...Slime corrodes, RO does not. Slime does not balance the tires, RO does...enough said!!! :doorag:

I thought Lamont said to be sure to get the Ride-On labeled "Auto" ....not the motorcycle or the atv kind???:dontknow:. Also, since they are no longer on our sponser page...do you think they will still give us spyderlovers a discount????

buy the auto and type in 'lamonster' in the coupon code section (something like that)...I would be surprised if you still don't get the 10% off...and, even if you don't, buy the stuff...it's excellent!
