• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

My Christmas from SWMBO (sewnonnie)

next shirt

My next project is a yellow RS on my shirt and a Blue RT on his shirt. I will probably do a RS outline for me sometime too. The designs I have downloaded for my home embroidery/sewing machine offer many creative possibilities.

Is it too early to start sending you our orders???:D
It looks GREAT! :2thumbs: No joke... (Can't believe that I just said that! :gaah:)

lookin' good!! I would love to have an embroidery machine...what machine do you have?

I have a Husquavarna Viking Designer 1. The designs are not expensive and are easy to download. I have outlines for both the RT and RS as well as colored versions of both. Hubby's RT took about 30-40 minutes to do.

I love it. :2thumbs: I would like to see the Yellow RS when you are done with it. Holly took me to her quilt shop she goes to, and some of those machines are over 10k !!!!! :yikes::yikes:

Does Holly quilt? What machine does she use? Lamont's wife quilts too. I wonder what machine she uses. My wife has a Janome.

What site did you get the download from? Wife wants to know. Was it Viking cite or other?

I hope to have this done before the end of the month. I was able to get a store floor model on my machine for aboout $3K when the newer models came out. I have had mine about 4 years and they have introduced at least 4 new, bigger machines.I kind of wish I would have gotten the Designer SE, but my D1 will take care of me for a long time.

I love my machine for quilting and never thought I ould embroider very much. I am a self taught quilter and not in the same class as Lamont's wife. Her quilts are breathtaking

Randy, is this something like you're looking for? This is about 5" x7". (Psst, not too expensive if Momma is happy, ;))

Point of Clarification: SWMBO has no desire to go into production or compete with any of our sponsors. We are merely attempting to illustrate what is available to the home crafters if they are so inclined and have home embroidery equipment.

Bob: She sez a Blue RT is planned for the future. The embroidery pattern company has the side view of an RT but has not yet produced a 3/4 front of the RT which I would like on my shirt.
