There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Spyder RT/RS Wheels

Does anyone know if Factory RT Smoke Chrome Wheels will fit on an RS? BRP store says RT only in the literature, Thanks for any info.

I believe the offset is different between the RS and RT, which would make the RT wheels hit the fenders on the RS

Interesting. If I lived anywhere close I would come over with my RTS and swap wheels with you for a test. Maybe someone in your area will volunteer to give it a try.

The RT wheels have more offset. At very least you would have to space out the fenders to fit. If I remember right, it has been done, though.

Thanks for the reply, I ran across a set of those really nice wheels that were taken off of a brand new RT for $125 for the set. My Spyder has the very basic stock wheels so it would be nice to upgrade without paying the $500 new wheels usually cost. I have upgraded my tires to Michelin 185's in the front which work great but there is very little clearance on the fenders. I may have to stop by the Can Am Dealer to take a look how they offset the fenders or if the fenders are completely different. Any other ideas are always appreciated, thanks

The RT also has wider suspension components, so the RT fender brackets alone would not be enough to compensate for the wheels if they were put on an RS. The only good way to do this is to bolt everything up and play with shimming the fenders until they fit. You larger tires are going to make the job trickier. For that price I'd get the wheels and play with the idea. You can always sell the wheels later to get your money back out of them if things don't work out. My recollection was that each wheel had 1/2" more offset, but you know what they say about an old man's memory.

I just installed rs performance wheels with 185/60/14 Falkens on my rt today. The only thing
I had to do was space the fender brackets in 1/2 inch on each side. I believe that the rs has 1/2
Inch spacers between bracket and spindle

I went to the Dealer today, they said the smoke chrome are the same wheels and would fit, they had an RSS with the really nice Black wheels which had the spacer(maybe 1/2") on the fender brackets that you mentioned. These are all on the stock tire which is considerably narrower than a 185 Michelin, at this point I will just have to give them a try and see how they fit. Thank you for your help and information.
