• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Spyder Emblems

Anyone have the Custom Dynamic Spyder Emblem covers on their RT and if so how do you like them, do they stick well, do they replace the BRP logo or are they placed over it . I've seen a few sets out there and one set I saw wasn't holding on very well ( the edges where lifting ).

Mine have been on over a year with no problems. They stick well if you clean the area before placement.

Dan Lamont sells the replacement Spyder logo for the RT. I purchased three a few weeks back and replaced the BRP logo on the front and rear trunks as well as my trailer.

The BRP emblems are easily removed with a heat gun on low setting and a flat head screw driver. Cleaning up the remaining glue was done using Do Gone and a soft cloth. A final clean with rubbing alcohol and I was ready to affix the new emblems.

I believe the emblems cost $10.00 each and they fit perfectly into the indent where the original BRP emblem was housed. Lamont sent them via USPS and they arrived within a week

Installation time per emblem is approximately 10 minutes with 3/4 of the time taken up cleaning off the residual glue from The BRP logo.

If you need a pic of the finished job I can snap one for you.

I will personally recommend Lamonts Dont mess with my Spyder Decal and his nose emblem. I was a little concerned prior to recieving them not knowing if the quality was going to be good. Now that was something I should not have worried about because these are very well made and look awesome.
