• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

:agree: It is going to be a great holiday for many families including mine. While my daughter was not deployed, she is coming home for Christmas today  I might be away from the computer for awhile spending time with her.

Thirty National Guard airmen are on their way to afghanistan, as Wednesday afternoon in Hammond friends and family gathered to say goodbye.

Dozens gathered on the campus of Southeastern University for a deployment ceremony for the Louisiana National Guard's 236th Communication Squadron.

The soldiers we talked to said the deployment just before christmas will actually be tougher on their families than on them.

“They're really emotional about it. Mom is just upset, always calling me, always hugging me lately,” said Chris Guillory.

“What's good is the guard and the military in general has a good support system for our families, if they ever need anything. It is really hard on them when we leave,” said Sidney Roddocker:

Their deployment is expected to last six months. The men and women of the 236th will be deployed Wednesday and Thursday
