• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Need recomendations for Highway Pegs

I'm looking for recomendations relating to highway pegs for our Spyder RT Ltd. I'm 6'-4" tall and a lot of it is legs.

Also wondering about arm rests for the passenger. Any advice or recomendations?

Lamonster NBV (No Bad Vibrations) highway mounts. I've been waiting since May for a set. I am 6'3" and am hoping they work as good as the marketing rep claims they do. Almost as important, they look like they a PART of the RT, not an add on.
You will get the first shipped production set. I won't ship till I'm happy and so far I'm not happy. I hope to get another test part this week and I hope it's to spec this time.

Count me in also, please

I am lookin forward to a set of my own. Yol Bolson is one of my two Mod Mentors- Mark Lawson being the other. Looking at their Spyders has cost me....hmm.... allowed me to help the overall economy.
These will be a 'must have' before the trek to Spyderfest!!

Highway Pegs

I bought a set from Kwelmetal I'm 6'2'" and heading for 65 years young. I have to say it is hard with the spyder being so wide a leg spread. It is not comfortable yet and I have not been able to get them tight enough to put any weight on them. So its cramps when I try to use both at the same time. I can use one at a time , which helps a little on a long ride. But for me the most comfortable ride is the standard peg that comes on the bike. Open for suggestion but can not see (unless your young and flexible) hwy pegs being something I would buy again and spend that much money for that much added comfort.:yikes:

You might want to look into FloorBoards rather than pegs. You can still strtch out but also have the option of moving your feet around if you start to cramp up. It works for me at 69 and far from flexible. BTW I have a couple of customers 6'6".

Ride in comfort,

John

The only one I know off that makes armrests for the RT is Corbin, a site sponsor on the home page . I think they go about 290 a set. They look like they belong on the RT and a quality product IMO.

As others who have posted above, I am waiting for the Lamonster NBV pegs. I have looked at a lot of options myself. I am 6' 3" and don't mind riding, but after being on the road for awhile, I have had to stretch my leg out towards the front wheels. The NBVs look like they will allow you to change the pressure points and keep you going. Best thing is from the pictures posted, they look like they belong on the :f_spider:.
