• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Has anyone ever took these off and if so, how did you take them off without ruining them ??? I Want to powder coat the handle bar cover, but I want those number plates perfect to put back on . Are they attached by glue ?

So, your not going to use a screwdriver and hammer to remove them? :roflblack:

I have a similar situation--I can't get the seat off my Vulcan to get to the battery. It just "clicked" into position--but I can't get it off. The dealer had it last for servicing--so I am planning on paying them a visit very shortly.

Use dental floss and cut the glue.:ohyea:

I've used fishing line to take badges off of my other bike in the sun. Badges came right off. Might have to heat it a bit since the weather is getting cooler.

Details... Tell us more about this powdercoating project. So far we know that the wheels and handlebars are under the gun; what else???
