• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

2011 RT ShopManual

I bought a midwest on line manual for $35 but what a waste of money. Missing information, pictures are blurry and hard to navigate. I just ordered the BRP Manual for my 2011, not cheap ($160 with my 10% discount) but I am tired of the frustration

MidWest manuals and Green Manuals are the same outfit. I ordered the CD version and it's great. Huge manual and takes a lot of memory when you open it but its all there. Plus parts diagrams and part numbers as an included extra. Very good. A fraction of the price of one from BRP. I prefer a book manual but for the price, this is great. Use it all the time. KJ at MidWest/Green was great -- shipped immediately. When I had a problem with the post office, KJ took care of it immediately at his own expense.

The manuals are in PDF format also so if you want a printed a portion or a page(s), you can print only the pages you want or need.

W/S manuals

Yes I agree, but thanks to my lovely employer i was able to print the whole manual off and make up a folder, So i have the best of both worlds a PDF copy and a hard copy to have with me in the work shop. I found the greens manuals are in the same formate as the BRP one's anyway. And cheaper.

I ordered MidWest/Green Manual .Downloaded it & burned a copy to a CD for backup. So far so good.

You can put it on many devices without being charged more. I have the manual on my home computer, work computer (for when my job needs me to look more busy then being productive), and I have it on a thumb drive that stays with the bike, for those times that I am 18 hours away from the computers. My only wish is that the manual could be downloaded to my iPad, but it can't.

What file type is the manual? PDF? Word DOC?
Even though we have not purchased a Spyder yet (waiting for spring), I have downloaded the operators manual from BHP, installed it into iTunes and synced it to my iPad. Same with the Accessories Catalog. I plan to do this with Dealers List and any other large information document.

Off Topic
We have a new dealer here in Saskatchewan. Custom Cycle in Saskatoon.
