• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Hope everyone had ....

A great 4th.

Rode the Spyder.

Washed the Spyder.

Napped.

Watched fireworks at a party where I talked about the Spyder.

Went on spyderlovers.com to read about the Spyder.

Planned to go out to breakfast with the lovely bride...on the Spyder.

Yep.

= A great 4th!

Raining on and off - ALL WEEKEND:cus:
Washed the Spyder
Watched TV
Went out in the Charger and did a little shopping
Came on here on and off
Hubby took Spyder apart - putting the fog lights on it
Cleared up enough for neighborhood fireworks - it was a warzone out here last night which was cool - things exploding everywhere

Not much of a riding weekend:dontknow: but it's better than being at work!

Happy 4th and please all say a prayer for all our service men and women over there protecting our Freedom.

BBQ and fireworks with great friends yesterday. Wife is planning on going to the beach. I planning on ryding the Wild Machine :yes::yes:;after I change in the oil in the Durango. Great 4th and a:spyder: weekend what more could you ask for.

Bill

Awesome 4th.

My buddy came over and we installed my BRP luggage rack and back rest; I decided to keep it gray for the time being. Actually blends in well w/the millennium yellow, as it matches the steering column.

Wife tried it out and likes it... it's all good.

Had an awesome ride on my Spyder. Watched the fireworks by the lake and went for my first long "NIGHT RIDE". Through lots of rolling country forest roads, watching the stars, fireworks and watching out for the deer. It was cool and the roads were empty... It was thrilling............

Thursday - Bike night at the Balloon Championships. Rode the Spyder and a vintage Honda out and watched the jets practice for the airshow, then entered the bike show. Parked us on one of the runways where we watched the F-104s fly from about 800 feet away. Then watched the ballons fly. Spyder was a big attraction.

Friday the 4th - Rode Spyder and BMW to big car cruise, then parked on main street with the hotrods for a few hours. Drew another huge crowd. Another Spyder rode cruised through town a couple of times. Nice ride home, then sat on a blanket on the golf course with my sweetie, and watched the fireworks.

Today (Saturday) - Rode the Spyder to breakfast. That slowed me down. Then we rode Spyder and Beemer back over to Marshall for the car show. Another crowd and lots of questions. Rode home through town with flashes popping on cameras like the paparazzi. I am beginning to think Nancy likes this attention.

I hope everyone is gonna be okay where those nasty fires are!

We had a big party with lots of (did I say 'LOTS'?) of Fireworks. All told, they figured about $1000 worth. Yeah; it was over the top this year! In our little town, I guess there are 6 or 8 fireworks stands set up for the 4th weekend, and New Years.

A good friend of ours, Rick, arrived on his 2008 HD Road King. And, his Son came on his new Sportster 1200XL. Both, just beautiful machines!

I had not seen Rick in a few weeks. So, as he's walking up, I mention to him that I'm getting a bike. So; I say to him; 'What do you think I'm getting?" With very little hesitation; he says a Spyder!! I say, "What???!!!" "How could you know that?" He just said that he knows that I like unique stuff, and it fits! Ha! He told me that a fellow Harley rider was telling him about the Spyder a week ago. He thinks they are very cool. And, he plans on going to the Demo this coming weekend.

Indeed; It was a pretty nice 4th. Our band was set up in the garage, the weather was nice, with just a short rain shower, lots of great frends, great food, good beer, and some of girls bring out more strange drinks. Every party seems to bring those out!
