• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

The manual says on storage capacity = 32 gig @ 1080 = 6 hours filming, @780 = 9 hours filming


BHPhoto had a deal that included the 2nd higher capacity battery in it.


The manual says = Standard battery = about 2.5 hours record time, High capacity battery = 4 hours record time.


These are "claimed" numbers and I have not tested to verify.

As soon as I figure out how to upload a non-youtube video, I'll post one. Indeed, the video is as good, given that it's mounted on a piece of velcro, not a hard mount. Also, given my use of the camera, I'd much rather have a real video camera than a special purpose camera. Additionally, I mounted my Canon ELPH on a RAM mount on my BMW, and got great video.

I just fail to see any justification for this high priced toy… Suggestions as to how to upload the video would be appreciated - the "uploader" has been spinning of about 20 minutes on my last attempt..
 
OK - this is from my $30 cam on a strip of velcro, mounted on my mirror (RT). This was taken before I figured out how to reset the date stamp… you decide...

I actually bought that package with the extra battery. Bought the suction cup mount from Pivot360 since BHphoto was out. Also bought spare helmet mounts for my paintball mask.The cool part of the Drift is that with the wrist band remote, you can turn on and off the video so you are not eating up your SD card.

The picture quality is lost on both of these because I saved them in a lower format to make it easier to upload to Youtube, but you can see the difference in picture width

I bought this and right on the page it said included free 1750mah battery $26.95 value. I opened the box an no extra high capacity battery. Did you guys get yours?

OK B&H said they would contact the manufacturer and that confused me since I thought based on the B&H site there would be one factory sealed box containing the camera and the standard battery and the second 1750mah battery would be in its own separate packaging. I expected to receive both in a single shipping box at the same time but I only got a camera box with the camera and standard battery. I thought B&H forgot to throw the spare battery in the box.

Just wanted to see how others received their second battery.
