• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I have no idea what this does...Anybody?????

BLIVETTS

I just happen to have some left over so if you want any let me know....to save on shipping i'll deliver it/them at SPYDERFEST......Mike.......:gaah:......:agree:.......

There's a lot of crossover technology being spread across all of the BRP platforms... Could this be a part used perhaps in their Sea Doo watercraft??

Wasn't that a triple post? I thought I saw three in a row together :roflblack:

I can see that today is going to be another fun day--three days, 40 + posts, and we still don't know what the knob is.

You just have to love this place sometimes.

Triple post but no duplicates...

You can tell it's winter... Everyone is CRAZY! If we are not careful, we will lose track of what this thread is even about.... On second thought, that might not make any difference at all on this one!

I think we lost track by the end of page 1... I'm not as "pushy" as Arntufun but this would have been resolved quicker with a picture!!!nojoke

I think the error here is you're assumption that a resolution was intended.

Bumblebee problem

Hey there Lady! just take the poor thing into Kevin at cowtown and ASK him he could tell ya what it is and what it's use is. That is IF you haven't torn into the handle bars to point of you can't drive it!! Then PLEASE LET ALL know what it was:dontknow: as they are about to come unglued more than usual. I haven't laughed this hard for awhile over this whole thing!!! you KNOW spyder lovers are CRAZY right???:b2b: For proof read page one and two. :roflblack:

I have no idea what it could be. Here is a picture of both the front and back of my throttle. The button on the back turns on the head light when the key is off. the front is the start button, and kill switch. Is this round button attached to the throttle itself, or to the cables like a strap?

:dontknow:

Opps, that is what happens when I don't preview the post before sending :banghead:

Got it right this time

I remembered to add the pics this time, both front and back.

Pretty foggy picture of the back. I still don't see the afore mentioned 'Knob'. But you definitly have a throttle lock. Maybe it's the tension adjustment for that. Without a better picture and a clue as to the 'knob' in question, that's my best shot.

it is a throttle lock so you can lock the throttle and rest your hand while riding .

To bad we are talking about Bumblebee67 Spyder, and not Blue Stars. The OP's question still has not been solved. So the thread goes on. :roflblack::roflblack:

Still think its a throttle lock. Here's a picture of a knobby turny thingy under the throttle box. Its not on a Spyder, but someone could have put one on.

Ever fill your crank case with oil and then discover you forgot to put the drain plug back? Well, that's how this thread is starting to feel! :gaah:
