• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I love it!! I've had three Ford trucks since 1973. I like this one the best.

So if you do not mind me asking, what kind of money does an 03, with 133XXX go for?

Unfortunately, I have heard that Ford had some trouble with their own diesel engine they were producing a while back.. Something like they have to remove the entire cab to get to parts of the engine. I hope this is not the case with you.

Well, they book at up to 17K. I got this for 14.3K

The Ford stealers..oops, I mean dealers have a computer system called OASIS. It's a history of the truck that is a bit more thorough than a CarFax as far as trips to the dealer are concerned. This one had an axle replaced. Nothing to do with the engine was reported by either Carfax or OASIS.

We will see how it acts on our trip back to MI starting tomorrow morning! 1900 mi each way. Bought a Scanguage2 for it so I can keep an eye on the critical temps. You must watch out for the oil cooler..it may clog up if you don't maintain it properly. With the scanguage, I can watch the oil temp and the water temp at the same time. These two temps are recommended not to vary by more than 15 degF while cruising. My ride today the temps were around 10 deg apart. I think that is good. :) If you want to keep an eye on your engine on a '99 and later domestic vehicle, these are very handy. Well worth the $160. It scans and clears codes, too, plus lots of other features.
