• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Hey Lamont! Remember the Cal Worthington and his dog Spot commercials out here in SouCal? For those who are not aware, CW was a car dealer who used hippos, tigers, bears, whatever, in his prolific commercials. They were all called Spot.

I remember CW very well. Use to see his commercials in NM when I was stationed there. In fact, I think they're still on aren't they. I think I saw them last time I was in Vegas. Do you remember when the bear jumped him. The look on his face was priceless :roflblack:

I bought a Chevy S10 from Cal Worthington. Not because of his dog "spot", but because someday I knew I would be able to say that I bought a car from him. Finally 23 years later I got my chance.

They are still on and now CW looks as old as a Stanley Steamer.

PS I think he outlived Spot! Lol

I remember those even from here in Canuckistan.

"Cal Worthington Ford in Federal way...open till midnight every day..." Then gets kicked by the donkey.:D
