• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Where exactly is Spyderfest 2012 being held?

The town is Cuba Missouri. That's about it for now, besides the dates that you've seen. Cuba is where CowTown is. CowTown is a GREAT CanAm dealer and they along with the Missouri Spyder Ryders (called MO Gang) put the thing together. EXACTLY what will happen this year and when will not be out till later.

Last year, some arrived early just to hang out. The first 'official' thing to do was a welcome buffet dinner in Cuba (packed out I might add). Then it was 2 days of events around Cuba between CowTown, The fiar grounds (vendors), rydes, etc. The neat thing was that it wasn't highly structured which makes anal-retentive people nuts :banghead: I had to fly in without my Ryde last year but THIS year, my bride and I WILL be there on Darth, the wonder Spyder.

Any news ion where the Vendor Village will be this year?
.......after this weekend meeting we will let you all know for sure, as of right now we are leaning toward having all the vendors at Cowtown in the lower parking lot, but can not confirm nor deny to after the meeting on the 5th

Yes lady bug RV park is less than a mile from the store location. Wee are expecting about 15 to 20 vendors this year, with a ton activitys going on from start to finish.....right down to a possible spyder water skying contest.......hummmm we will see lol

That's about a 2-day ride for me. Anyone else from Albuquerque or that will be passing through Albuquerque planning on going? This could be do-able, but I'd rather not ride solo.

Just lloked at the state map from 2011 and yes it seems there was about 5 ryders from your state in 2011 so i'm sure there will be more chime in!

It was a two day ride for everyone coming up from Florida and well worth it even thow we went thru Tornado's, rain, sleet, hall and did i say RAIN. We'll do it again next year too, It was a lot of fun.

I am trying to get the wife to go this year. If we can make this happen we would love to join others on the ride up. We would be going through ABQ. We wouldn't know on till we get closer to de-conflict schedules.

I'll be going thru Albuquerque either with my husband or by myself. You are welcome to ride with us. Spyderfest is a blast.

I had to read this twice before it sunk in....you really are moving west!!! Now you'll need to find a whole new group to ride with to all the eastside events:(

Don't forget that everyone needs to sign up in the new group section that Lamont created if you are comming to Spyderfest 2012:2thumbs:. Currently their are about 90+ people that have "joined":clap:This is the best way that the MoGang can keep track of how many :spyder:will be attending.

See you all in April, it will be a great party:yes::yes:

I will try to make it, but I won't know till a few days beforehand. I have to be at the Yuma Territorial Prison Run the weekend before, and I can only get 9 days off at most. It will be some hard ryding to get back to work. It all hinges on the day I get home for time off. :D

If I'm able to go I'll definitely let everyone know so I link up with whoever is passing through Albuquerque. The key will be to get a "work release" from my wife.

Well good luck with convincing her!
(Jewelery and dinner out work pretty well... Saved my bacon more than once!):D
