There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Ron, I received my TPG Escape pants and Rainer jacket today and I have to say WOW they are great. The fit is perfect and the quality is fantastic. I love the adjustment on the pants so you can let out or take in on the waist. The pants in the short version is perfect as I am a 29 inseam. I'm glad that I went with a jacket and pants than with the one piece suit. The cell phone pocket in the jacket is going to come in handy.:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

Well, not EVERYONE- I've got more Firstgear stuff than you can count, and the one exception to my love for them remains their complete idiocy in using the flimsiest, lamest back protectors known to man (and refusing to offer jacket pockets large enough for the dozens of aftermarket protectors that blow their "comfort foam" out of the water).
Oh well. Nobody's perfect, still love their gear!
Thermo riding suit
BajaRon, I don't know how you do it. I get an email from you on 9/26 saying the Thermo riding suit will ship out tommorow, and it came in on 9/27. Don't know how you was able to deliver same day from Kansas City to California, but thank you. The suit fit great for the entire 10 seconds I kept it on before I almost died from heat. Firstgear armor was a weak point. But Firstgear has upgraded the TPG line with 3do molecular armor which is the future of protection. Soft and pliable when not under stress but locks to a rigid condition upon impact.
And you can replace the armor you have now with this 3do armor as you can buy it separately.
