Very strange! People Wishing for cold weather... :hun:

But it does warm the heart knowing there will be quite a few toasty Spyder Riders out this winter!

I received my Firstgear suit last night. I sure hope it turns cold soon so I can wear it. It is a well made, great looking suit and a bargain. I certainly recommend it....

I have to be careful listing prices for small items like the Heat-Troller units. Shipping can be a killer. I like to list prices including shipping because really, it's the total that you're interested in.

If you purchase gloves, liner(s) etc., then I can ship a Heat-Troller for a good price. For example, the Dual Remote version ($139.95 retail) would be $117.00. But if all you need is just the Heat-Troller then I'd have to add $10.00 for shipping.

Hope this makes sense.

Firstgear makes some very nice gear. I have had extremely positive comments from everyone about quality, features and fit. I want to say thank you to all those that have given me the opportunity at your business. I know that I like a quality product at a good price and that is what I try to provide.

With this gear you can enjoy riding in comfort almost year around.

Ron, what sizes left do you have in the Thermosuit? And does it run as large as the Kilimanjaro jacket?

I've got all sizes left in the Thermo suit. The Kilimanjaro runs large and the Thermo is also generous. It is hard to compare the two because they are very different garments. Most people find that the jacket sizing chart works well for fitment of the Thermo suit with room to spare.

If you are slim you can usually go 1 size smaller in the Thermo and have a better fit.

Hmmm..... You're right! The links dont work! That's what I get for not checking them after posting. This should work better.

I did check it, but only to see that it linked! I have got to get my brain back from the cleaners! This loaner just isn't working out!

I did fix it FOR SURE this time!

I'm still getting the expedition suit and not the one you are selling.
Stan

I got the First Gear Expedition 1 piece suit from Ron and I really like it so far. He has the best price anywhere so he is the the go to man on this one. Should be good for riding down in the 30 degree temp range with thermal underwear. Unlike the Thermo suit it has well placed armor and lots of pockets. Also has a high collar that with a full face helmet blocks out cold air. Although this will not be as warm as the Thermo suit it doesn't make you look and feel like the Stay Puft Marshmallow man. With all the zippered vents this will also be good for warmer temp riding.

Has anyone bought the TPG Escape pants. I'm thinking about going with them and the Scout jacket or the Kilimanjaro jacket.

Though higher priced than the Thermo, the Expedition is an awesome suit. Lots of armor, more versitle and takes less space to store. You have to wear some insulation underneath for cold weather (unlike the Thermo) but the Expedidion is also good in mild weather whereas the Thermo is going to be too warm.

Each suit has it's stong points.

The TPG Escape pants are pretty awesome. Some SpyderLovers have purchased these pants and are very happy with them. Hopefully one of them will post a review. The TPG is much like the Expedidion suit in a Pant form with great armor but also has a removable thermal liner for cold weather.

I still have a few of the closeout models left at a great price.

The new version Escape pants fit much like a pair of jeans. Customers say they like the fit and the comfort. Armor is adjustable so you can customize location to fit your body. Both are great pants but be aware there is quite a bit of difference between the previous and current design.

Here is a great review on these TPG Escape pants (This link works! :ohyea:)

I've got a few of the discontinued TPG Escape pants in women's sizes 10, 12, 14 & 16 for $165.00 delivered (Retail 230).

I have the new 2011 TPG Escape pants in all sizes (Men's regular and Tall plus Women's sizes) for $299.00 delivered (Retail $380)
