• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Does anyone know how to pause an iPOD using the ECC ?

I know this isn't a big deal, but here is my issue.

When I ride, sometimes I want to listen to music, other times I don't. On long rides I may want to change back and forth.
I generally listen to tunes on my iPOD hooked up in the back. I have the iPOD set to shuffle so I don't hear the same music all the time.

I know how to skip to the next song, go back, change playlists, increase/decrease volume etc.

When I want to totally silence the tunes, I want to do it by pausing the iPOD.
If I use the mute feature on the ECC, then that mutes the GPS as well. This can be suboptimal.

I've set up a playlist for"Silence" and can select that to quiet the music while still hearing the GPS instructions, but when I want to change back to the previous playlist, it starts from the beginning of the list and it loses the shuffle function.

Yeah, yeah, I know this isn't a big deal, but does anyone know if I'm missing a simple instruction ?

Thanks in advance to anyone who can help.

Thanks. I've tried that as well. When riding single that works well, but if I have a passenger, or if I'm riding with other bikes the GPS has the higher priority so it shuts down the intercom and CB.

Again, this isn't a deal breaker, just a minor annoyance.

I guess at this point there is no real solution. I just wonder if the programming boys at BRP would be able to devise a solution or is this hardware limited. I suppose time will tell.

Thanks to both of you for the help.
