There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I appreciate the conveniences, the relative roominess and amenities of a "modern" motel or hotel, but for me there is just that extra special element of staying in a tastefully renovated place like the Wagon Wheel. It's a piece of history I enjoy. Connie has done an outstanding job in a short span of time. While in Cuba last weekend with Y Rider, Can Am Y, SteveMac, "ConnieMac" and all the others we had the pleasure of meeting, I made plans to stay there again in 2012. Wow, only 8 more months to wait. :shocked:

I know what you mean. Last year we originally booked a room at the Baymont Inn in Sullivan. Glad we cancelled and booked a room at the Wagon Wheel. It would have been a pain running back and forth 18 miles between the hotel and Spyderfest activities. During our stay in Cuba, MO last weekend we stayed at the Best Western. It's really a decent place but we really like the atmosphere and location of the Wagon Wheel and it's only a short walk to Mo Hicks.

We stayed at the Best Western last year and will be staying there again. I like the ground level rooms and parking in front of the room. No, it's not the newest motel but it was clean and the rooms are good sized with comfortable beds. Good breakfast too:thumbup: It also has a good trailer parking area if you trailer your spyder.
