• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Looking for matching toggle switch

Thinking of the same thing. Thought I'd check with Parts when I go to the dealer again and see if one is avail. Have you tried that yet?

There is a guy in Japan that sells identicle switches. I have a switch from him but I never installed it. I'm going to try and find it and see if there is any info on it. I can't even remember why I bought it. I'll get back in touch with you.

I got lucky and found it. It is made by Carling Technologies. Allied Electronics and Kramer and others carry them. This stock #VLD2GHNB-AACOO-000 looks like the one I have and the design is the same as the bike. They also make an adapter if the hole is larger that snaps into place. No number on it. You can browse thru the list they only have 1100 + pages of switches. The DPDT Lighted is on page 3. Good luck.

Here's the Allied listing: http://www.alliedelec.com/search/productdetail.aspx?SKU=6830143
and the cheaper non-lighted: http://www.alliedelec.com/search/productdetail.aspx?SKU=6830148#tab=Specs

I first used some Walmart SEASENSE marine switches that were a good fit but they shorted out in the rain!

The Carling switches are sealed and meet underwater tests... Here's a pic:
