Avatars are there but gone

For whatever reason 4.0 renamed the files in the avatar directory. My avatar now is customavatars/avatar960_5 but it was customavatars/avatar960_4 so what it did was add a number to the file name and right now we have no way to fix it so your best bet will be load a new one.

The file needs to be no bigger than 150 wide by 250 tall and in a jpg format.
Sorry about that but this was one of those things we didn't see coming. :dontknow:

One more thing to put on the list to fix. If you perform a search. The highlite is black on black letters so it blocks out the search word(s). Use to be yellow but needs to be something other than black.

This has turned out to be the biggest problem of all. The dropdown menues are the same way. We're still working on that but if we can't get it right soon I'll be changing to a new style that's already tweaked to work, It will look a little different than this one but everything should work. Stay tuned

I just edited my signature and changed the color to black and now its displays okay.

it was time for a new one anyway.

also switched color of text in signature.

These are small hurdles for us to deal with. You have done a great job and we still have the best d@mn Spyder site on the web. Thanks to you and the members. No progress without a little pain, and as you have informed us, the update was needed for security reasons. We can definitely deal with some minor inconveniences.
