• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

2012 Can-Am Spyder Roadster info and pics !

Lamont, take pictures of the real colors, the brochure doesn't give it A good view, cluster gauge turned -on and shocks

They will eventually come out with a big-boy RT. Larger engine, maybe stretched a few inches with more seat area and larger fuel cell.

Exactly what I told Chaz and Carlo at Lamont's BBQ a few weeks ago, plus offer it in yellow like my present RS. I like the visibility (too many 80-90 year olds driving around here, LOL!)

I was thinking about a new RT for my wife in 2012, but nothing much I like in the new colors.

I am guessing a lot more then just what they told us got changed under the hood...

like the 2011 there were changes ... look the connectors changed in the 2011 we found out that when others tried installing a JuiceBox Pro and it would not work anymore...

Usually cosmetic and performance changes are the big news... anything else you discover on delivery. Such as the maintenace covers on the 2010 RT and 2011 also. Good point on the connectors too!

Glad they got better shocks on the RS.

They keep talking about an 'anti roll bar.' Does that mean they upgraded to a real sway bar?

+1 For Pics of the display on!!!!

Would also like to see a side by side of the new blue with and 2011 blue. Just to see the difference. They look the same from the brochure.

Happy to see the few changes, including the extra chrome on the RT Limited... I guess I also like the idea that there are no huge changes on the 2012 RS and that means no huge changes on the RT in 2013 either... :2thumbs:

Thanks Lamontster for posting!!! I can't wait to see the black RS, and the LCD. I had to paint mine black  I also can't wait to drive a new one with the new shocks. I wonder how big of a difference it will be :dontknow:

Lamont asked me to post this for him since he is in the air, and on his way to Montreal to see the real 2012 Spyders in person.

Don't you wish you were Lamont! :gaah: Me too!

So here is the link to the 2012 Spyder line up. Enjoy! I'm sure Lamont will add to this when he can.

Both links are the same but if one doesn't work the other should.

i wish i was lamont ....just for the mustache factor .....:joke:

Underwhelmed; but small steps taken in the right direction can still be effective...
BNGs... yawn...
Thanks for putting this up here! Now I'm gonna show the pics of the green one to my kid; maybe it'll light a fire under his butt!

What I want to know is how the Fox shocks for the RS rank in the pantheon of performance.

I'm just gonna guess that the Elkas are still the best, but would the new Fox shocks be better than upgrading the RS with the 2011 (and now, 2012) RT shocks, or about the same?

Fox in my experience are OK they do need rebuilt more often, I still believe Elka's will still be far better shocks. Be interesting to see the price jump for fox shocks, and why they didn't upgrade rear shock on RS is strange:dontknow:

Wake me up next year if they accually do something worth while mentioning besides paint.

I do like the green though, but the brown looks like poop. Did you get my analogy ??? :roflblack:
