• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

My son Nathan is leaving for Afghanistan tomorrow

Not to happy about that. :( Please keep our young men and women in your prayers.

My prayers are with him, all the troops, and for you in this trying time. My daughter (Army) told me yesterday that they are giving her special training for when they ship her out there too. She expects to be there in March sometime.

May G-d Bless and protect all our troops from harms way.

Been in your shoes many times and know how you feel. I'll be glad when the day comes when all our young Men and Women can come home. for your whole family.

I just returned home from a deployment to Iraq. Your son will be in my family's prayers for his safe return.

A nation that forgets its defeders will itself be forgotten.

Prayers for all

Sending along prayers as he goes. Prayers for strength, courage and safety.

I would love to have my new class become pen-pals with him in September (they are in First Grade) so if you are able, or think he might like it, it would be great to have an address.

Nathan - be safe and know we will all be praying for your safe return.

Mine has been there for about 6 months now. He is a grunt and carrys around a machine gun. He has actually been able to facebook some pics. I was and am terrified for him.

He was scared to death at first. He sees gun and missle play constantly. He is no long so afraid though. I have to tell you that if he comes through this it will have changed him sagnificantly for the better. His messages from me are just Way grown up. He is now clearly a man now and very introspective.

I hope that your son as well as mine come through this safely and they come home to us all grown up and responsible.

Take care
