• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Front Wheels 14” or 15” or 16”

I have been looking online to try and find some new front wheels for my 2010 RS (other than BRP wheels). I originally started looking for the stock size 14” (3 lug), but can’t seem to find any. Three lug wheels are hard to find. There are some Smart Car wheels with three lug but they usually start at 15” and go up.

I am still researching my options. And I have some questions.

If the hole pattern is correct will a 15” wheel fit without taking off the fender? My preference is not to take the fender off.

Will the DPS complain about the larger wheels?

Will the larger wheels affect the speedometer?

Also there is the issue of the front brake caliper clearance.
So if any of you have any suggestions, your input would be greatly appreciated.

You are limited in choice. There are 1 or 2 vendors besides BRP out their that made rims, not sure if they are still doing it. The other option was a few machine shops making adapters to fit standard automotive bolt patterns. The stock bolts remain and the adapter bolts onto them. Smart Car bolt pattern doesn't fit.
There is a sensor on all 3 wheels, the rear has 2. They can compare the speed between each other. The rear wheel indicates your speed. You can fit up to a 180~185 width with stock fenders. You can increase the size of you rims, you need to subtract tire side wall so you end up with the same final diameter.

Three things you don't mess with on a vehicle...brakes, steering, and tires.

Many here have gone with car tires and are very happy with them. Some have gone with wider, bigger tires...

I don't see the need for bigger tires as it will likely throw off your everything on your bike, mostly raise the center of gravity. Wider tires will do nothing for you but decrease mileage and make you slide more in slick conditions.

I be stickin' with the 14s and the OEM tire. I ride plenty hard but just don't see the need to change...the bike was developed with BRP rims and tires and it works just fine with them.
