Fan Can on RT

Anyone put the Fan can on their RT...can I get a little help.

I know it fits, saw one on an RT in Maggie.... but I just spent(wasted) 3 hours and it kicked my #$@. I must be missing something,,,there has got to be one more piece I need to remove....something:gaah:

How do I get this big $#@ Fan Can into that little space in front of the radiator fan?

I installed one on an RT and fought quite a while. I ended up "dog earing" the top corner of the exit tab (on the upper left as you are looking at the installed position) just about 1.5" bent at 90 degrees and the can slipped in easily in about five minutes. I just didn't see any other way it would fit. Anyway, not ideal but it worked for me. Been very happy with my install. I combined with Spyderpops lablock and removed the lower splash pan. No more heat problems!

Me and a friend put one on his rt what a pain we ended up cutting out the small plastic cross bar and taking out the the fan schroud :cus: i did not like the way the heat came up from the bottom blowing up in your face felling heat as you ride he said he did not mined the heat but owhell not my bike

what a differance having the right directions can make. The set that came with the fan can were for a RS :lecturef_smilie: I now see what I was missing. That shroud around the fan has to come off. All I need now is TIME to try again.

They folks at ISCI are great to deal with...it's so nice to have vendors that understand your fustration.
