• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

RT 622 Specs

Does anyone have the physical specs on the 622 trailer? I checked the owners manual but no luck. I am interested in overall width at the widest point, dimensions of the two openings, internal width/length and height to the openings.. I am trying to determine if I could get a mobility scooter in. It only weighs 78 ponds so weight is not an issue.

Thanks

Actually I do. Didn't think to look there, I went to the 622 owners manual. Thank you again

My trailer is covered right now, but I can take some more measurements if you need them. The rear opening is the largest, and the only one even close to tall enough for a scooter. It would be very difficult to lift 78 pounds and lower it into the deep trailer, though. The narrowest point in the rear is only about 28" between the wheelwells, with the opening actually a bit wider. The inside height at the drip tray is about two feet, as a guess. The biggest trouble besides clearance and loading would be weight distribution. 78 pounds loaded behind the rear axle would make the tongue weight too light, and cause squirrelly handling.

It was great to briefly meet you during the BBQ. Thanks for your advise on the 622. I may have to go in a different direction.

Thanks, I did see these but was hoping to find something a bit less pricy. With matching paint color and a few extras these are in the $6,000 range - twice the cost of the 622.

A simple flat bed trailer, perhaps with a front mounted cargo bay, would be much more economical, but you may have to have it custom built.
